For those wanting to check whether their Mode S ES transponder ADS-B Out configuration is setup correctly the latest version of PilotAware software provides a handy new tool.
The 20151114 release of PilotAware will gather and display some of the more technical elements of ADS-B messages. This will be of particular interest to those going through the Light Aircraft Association MOD approval process when setting up a Mode S ES transponder with an uncertified GPS position source.
